DREAMLOCKR

Dreamlockr — recipient of the 2025 MusicPEI Microgrant Program — is the project of Luis Angel Flores Rodriguez — a singer and producer crafting a fusion of electronic, pop and rock music. Emerging from a background in visual arts and music performance, Luis built Dreamlockr as an alter-ego for his musical and creative vision. 

Coming from the short lived Latin music band Los Cumbiamberos, the Mexican born, PEI-based musician presents his solo work, influenced by EDM.

Dreamlockr’s music balances introspective lyrics and sonic textures. His debut double-single, SALIR DE AQUÍ and MAQUINÓN, introduced a flair for an upbeat and danceable production. Later works like Friday the Thirteenth showcase a more vulnerable perspective through a stripped-down piano ballad.

His coming single Illusion is influenced by his insights on his personal philosophy inspired by the 80’s new-wave and new-romantic genres.
